My Husband and I have been going to the gym since mid February. We’ve been doing pretty good, we try to go at least 3 days a week! The thing is we both go to the gym for different reasons! His goal is to lose weight and tone up while my goal is to gain weight and tone up.
Turns out gaining weight for me is alot harder than it sounds. I’m 5 ft tall ,or should I say short?, well anyways im currently at 105 pounds. My desired weight is at least 115 pounds! My Baby is 5 months and I’m still breastfeeding, so she’s literally sucking everything out of me!! Yeah I know you’re probably thinking just eat more. I know everything I have to do or at least I think I do. I know Im suppose to consume well over 2000 calories! But in order to gain healthy weight or better yet muscle my calorie consumption has to be of healthy foods!! That right there is where I get stuck!! I tend to be a very picky eater. I like very few vegetables, I can probably count the amount of veggies I like on one hand, I know that’s not good. And being a stay at home mom i tend to forget to eat healthy meals and instead just snack throughout the day!!! So yeah this lifestyle change definitely requires dedication and determination! So I’ve decided to challenge myself to try new veggies at least once a week lol!! I know it’s not much but I have to start somewhere! Right?!?
