My Greatest Challenge

My Husband and I have been going to the gym since mid February.  We’ve been doing pretty good, we try to go at least 3 days a week!  The thing is we both go to the gym for different reasons! His goal is to lose weight and tone up while my goal is to gain weight and tone up.

Turns out gaining weight for me is alot harder than it sounds.  I’m 5 ft tall ,or should I say short?, well anyways im currently at 105 pounds.  My desired weight is at least 115 pounds! My Baby is 5 months and I’m still breastfeeding,  so she’s literally sucking everything out of me!!  Yeah I know you’re probably thinking just eat more.  I know everything I have to do or at least I think I do.  I know Im suppose to consume well over 2000 calories! But in order to gain healthy weight or better yet muscle my calorie consumption has to be of healthy foods!! That right there is where I get stuck!! I tend to be a very picky eater.  I like very few vegetables, I can probably count the amount of veggies I like on one hand, I know that’s not good.  And being a stay at home mom i tend to forget to eat healthy meals and instead just snack throughout the day!!! So yeah this lifestyle change definitely requires dedication and determination!  So I’ve decided to challenge myself to try new veggies at least once a week lol!! I know it’s not much but I have to start somewhere! Right?!?

Do you like eating Veggies? What is your favorite? And please give me tips on how to cook them to give them some flavor!! Gracias Chicas!!😘😘

    This is so cool Caro! I hadn’t seen you had a blog, I keep thinking about starting my own blog also. Well unfortunetly I don’t have the same problem as you, I need to lose the weight I sometimes use slap yo momma seasoning on some salads for added taste, have you tried grilling the veggies? Keep it up you can do it! 👏🏽💪🏼

      Thanks Mayra!! Go for it girl!! Everyones fitness journey if different you just have to stick to your goals! Where can I buy the seasoning?? And i will definitely try grilling the veggies aver como me sale lol

    Roast them in the oven. Salt. Pepper.Garlic Salt. Or…Hubby & I discovered wheat grass. 2oz of it is equivilant to 4lbs of veggies. If you have a Jamba Juice go try the wheatgrass shot and chase it with an orange or OJ. If you like it buy it. It has alot of benefits. And if you want to gain weight try going to GNC and see what type of protein you can buy to gain weight. Good luck prima!!!

      Thanks Prima!! Si me puedo hechar un shot de Tequila y luego chupar un limon que no vaya poder hecharme un shot de zacate y luego chupar una naranja!! LoL If with a shot of wheat grass i’ll be set for the day I definitely need to give it a try!! As for the protein I’m already drinking protein after my workouts but I think I should start drinking it twice a day.
