What To Do?!?

I have a little situation with one of my daughter’s teachers…I’m not sure exactly what to do! Let me know what you think!

So my daughter is in 4th grade, and one of her teachers asked her if she can borrow 2 of her expo markers. 2 weeks passed and the teacher still didn’t give my daughter her markers back. So yesterday my daughter finally asked her for her markers back. The teacher gave them back, but then told my daughter “since you don’t know how to share don’t ask me to share my stuff with you.” Well that was yesterday, then today the teacher was asking questions to the class and who ever got the answer right got a candy. When my daughter answered the question correctly the teacher didn’t give her the candy and said “Oh yeah you don’t know how to share.”

While my daughter is telling me this I’m thinking “Really B****!!! You’re gonna act childish over some markers!! Get your own damn markers!!” Whoa!! Quick rant there lol!!

Anyways I don’t know if I should go talk to her personally or go to the principal!! Or am I overreacting?? What would you do if this would happen to any of your kids??

Yes! Set up a meeting with her and the principal. Tell her you aren’t sure if there is a misunderstanding but you wanted to clear it up. Don’t be ghetto and whatever you do don’t lose your cool.
